Privacy

Stêrk Project is a small Kurdish streetwear shop. This page says plainly what we hold about you, why we hold it, and who else can see it.

What we never collect

  • No payment details, ever. You pay cash when the parcel reaches you. No card number, no bank detail, ever touches this website.
  • No tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and nothing following you to other websites.
  • No cookies. Which is why this site has never shown you a cookie banner.

What we collect, and when

When you place an order: your name, phone number, governorate and delivery address, and what you ordered. We need every one of those to bring the parcel to your door and to ring you first to confirm.

If you make an account: your email address, and a name if you give one. Your password is stored scrambled, so nobody here can read it. If you sign in with Google instead, Google tells us your email address and name and nothing else.

If you join the newsletter: your email address, and nothing else.

If you use the contact form: your name, phone number, and your Instagram handle if you give one.

Kept in your own browser

Three things are saved by your browser, on your device: what is in your basket, the fact that you are signed in, and whether you have seen the welcome message. These are not cookies and they are not sent anywhere — except the sign-in token, which goes only to our own server to prove the orders you are looking at are yours. Clearing your browser data removes all of them.

Who else can see it

We do not sell your details, and we do not give them to anyone for marketing. Like any online shop, we rely on a few companies to keep the site running, and each of them holds only the part it needs:

  • The company that serves this website — the pages you are reading now
  • The company that runs our server — orders and accounts, as the shop works
  • The company that stores our photographs — the shirt photos - nothing about you
  • The service that sends our email — your address, so a receipt can reach you
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, and only your email and name

If you want to know exactly which companies these are, email us and we will tell you. We are not hiding them; they are simply not very interesting to read.

Delivery is arranged by us directly. When a courier carries your parcel, they are given your name, address and phone number, because that is what delivering it means.

How long we keep it

Orders are kept as a record of the shop's sales. Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it. Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask to come off the list.

Asking us to change or delete it

Email hello@sterkproject.com and ask. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you ask us to delete your account we will, though we may keep the record of an order that has already been delivered.

Children

This shop is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly keep details of anyone under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we will remove them.
